Richard Hickson - Owner and Director at Complete Soccer Coaching

Rich arrived in America in 2006 and since then has been involved in developing youth players of varying age, level and ability.  His philosophy is focused on technical and tactical development and readying youth players to move onto higher levels of competition. 

Before coming to America Rich played soccer competitively in England from a young age, which culminated in playing 3 years at Trinity and All Saints College in Leeds UK.  While studying to receive his degree in Sport, Health, Leisure and Media he coached locally for Leeds United Football Club and began his coach education in England.  

Having gained his English FA level 1 and 2 coaching certificates he moved to America to continue coaching soccer.  In his 15 years coaching in the US he has worked predominantly in CT and Westchester County and currently works with New Canaan Football Club, CFC Arsenal and is head coach for the New Canaan Girls high school program.  Rich has continued his coach education and currently holds both USSF and NCAA qualifications.
